Consultation
We get together and go over your concept in depth. We will go over the design details, process and scope of work. I will answer as many questions as I can to ensure you understand and are comfortable with every aspect of the intended project.
Proposal
The proposal will include all the finalized project details, layout of cost, shipping details (if applicable) and start/completion date. Acceptance of the proposal must be in written form. Fifty (50) percent of the deposit is required to start work. Once work begins, any changes or new requests will require written confirmation of the change in cost and timeline. Work will not continue until all changes are confirmed by both parties.
Progress & Updates
You will be regularly updated about the progress of your piece, and where we are in the timeline. These communications are available as a courtesy for your peace of mind. If your project has elements that require a mock up or rough draft,( a ex: dress, coat, etc. ) approval of the fit and form of the final draft will be required before proceeding with the design in the final fabric.
If at any time you have questions about the project while it is in progress, you are welcome to reach out and ask. I’m happy to update you with whatever information you require.
If you decide to cancel the project after the established start date, the deposit is refundable minus the cost of materials purchased. If the project is cancelled after the final drafts are approved, the deposit is forfeit.
Delivery of Project
The best part: receiving your items! Upon completion, you will be notified and the other half of the deposit is due. Local customers will have the option to pick up the items or whatever other option is most convenient. If the items will be shipped, this cost will already have been factored into the deposit. You will be notified upon shipment of the item with the delivery information.
